When Nicky, a down-and-out homeless Shakespearean actor curls up on a bench in Central Park he has no idea of the events in store for him. Devoted lovers Mia and Michael are meeting in Central Park at midnight. They are running away together to elope but are being chased by Andrew, the man who Mia’s father wants her to marry. Mia’s best friend Helen chases hopelessly after Andrew, who is the love of her life...only trouble is Michael despises Helen! Meanwhile the jealous fairy King Oberon, instructs the Magician Puck to find the magic flower that will teach his Queen a lesson and make her fall in love with “something vile”. Puck finds the flower and tries his hand at fixing the romance between two young couples but ends up mistaking identities and creating havoc in the mortal world. An unsuspecting Nick Bottom is transformed into a donkey and finds himself the lover of a fairy Queen.
