DREAM - IN CONCERT

Homeless Shakespearean actor Nick Bottom shivers on a park bench as the first flakes of snow tickle his whiskers. He has a hopeful dream about fairies and summer.
In fairyland Robin Goodfellow (Puck) has reluctantly acquired the job of fairy-sitter. Two young fairies ask him to tell them a bedtime story, and so he tells them  a mortal tale of two young lovers who plot to run away together.
Jealous of his queen's devotion to a baby orphan, Robin's boss (King Oberon) has ordered Puck to find a magic 'love flower' that causes those who have touched the petal to their eyelids, to fall in love instantly with the next person (or creature) that they see.
Puck finds the mortal he has been told to anoint, so that mortal will fall in love with Helen.
Robin gleefully reports to Oberon that he's made Titania fall in love with a Donkey (an ass)  only we also find out he's anointed the wrong lover and has caused a lover's quarrel.
Oberon orders Puck to collect the lovers, and then anoints one lover to correct the error.
Oberon orders Puck to create mayhem in the forest in order to wear them out, so they can finally make things right again.
Mother fairy comes back to collect her children, but the fairies beg her to let Robin finish the story. Robin creates a wedding scene in which all ends happily ever-after.
